Abby is a planner by nature. She thrives upon the gradual process of steadily organizing small, day-to-day details in order to achieve the most important long-term goals. Preparing early for multiple possible outcomes, and she seizes the opportunity to foresee and forestall potential issues before they become problems. This passion for assembling smaller details into larger results is used daily in Abby’s role as a Legal Assistant.
Originally from Omaha, Abby graduated cum laude from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature. She was awarded with the dual honors of Outstanding Essay in Literary Criticism and a Special Award for Outstanding Work in English Studies. Abby held roles in administrative assistance and project management before being drawn to the legal field. She began as a legal secretary and progressed as a legal assistant. She is a lifelong learner, constantly growing in her professional development and continued education.
When Abby is not lending support in the office, she’s busy providing support at home as a companion to her pets, an elderly dog and a ferret. Since her dog is blind, Abby is her “seeing-eye human,” teaching her to navigate the world with confidence. When not outdoors with her pets, Abby enjoys curling up with them indoors to either read a good book or write a new story.
