Lindsay Velez was twelve years old when she was first inspired to be a part of a team helping others. As a young girl, she worked in her family grocery store and restaurant. When her family supported a campaign to fight an unfair law in their hometown, Lindsay joined in. “It taught me what you can do for others,” she said.
From filing critical legal documents with the court to assembling hundreds of exhibits for a courtroom trial, Lindsay’s dedication to service make her role of legal assistant a perfect fit. “It takes a lot of teamwork,” she said. “Every client’s situation is different. It’s important to always really listen and leave them with no doubt that you will be by their side.”
Lindsay attended Iowa Central Community College before receiving her Bachelor of Arts from Creighton University. She worked full-time while in college and graduated magna cum laude. Lindsay is fully fluent in Spanish and appreciates helping every client’s voice be heard.
A self-identified perfectionist with a deep work ethic, Lindsay finds time with family and watching movies make the top of her list for relaxation.
